1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using the Kisses Included Animal Care Services website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. Kisses Included reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
2. Services Offered
Kisses Included Animal Care Services provides premium, personalized animal care services specializing in pet care in the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding regions, including but not limited to:
- Dog Walking
- Drop-In Visits
- Overnight Stays at Carol's Home
- Overnight Stays at Your Home
- Pet Transportation
- Professional Pet Photography
- Add-On Services (training, grooming, vet transport, medication administration)
- Custom pet care arrangements by request
All services are provided by Carol Ellen, the principal pet care provider and owner of Kisses Included Animal Care Services. We are fully insured and bonded.
3. Booking and Cancellation Policy
Booking Process
Booking requests are submitted through the Kisses Included website. Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation that your request has been received. Carol Ellen will contact you within 24 hours to confirm availability, discuss your pet's needs, and finalize scheduling. A complimentary Meet & Greet is included for first-time clients to ensure a good fit.
Payment Terms
Pricing varies by service type and duration. Payment terms will be discussed and agreed upon during the booking confirmation process. A deposit may be required to secure your service date.
Cancellation by Client
Cancellations must be made in writing at least 7 days prior to the scheduled service to receive a full refund of any deposit. Cancellations made with less than 7 days' notice may forfeit the deposit, at Kisses Included's discretion. In case of emergency or extenuating circumstances, please contact Carol Ellen directly to discuss options.
Cancellation by Kisses Included
Kisses Included reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any service due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered an alternative date or full refund.
4. Pet Care Standards and Responsibilities
Client Responsibilities
By booking services with Kisses Included, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your pet's health, behavior, dietary needs, and medications
- Ensure your pet is up-to-date on vaccinations (proof may be requested)
- Disclose any behavioral issues, allergies, or special needs
- Provide clear instructions for pet care, feeding, and emergency protocols
- Maintain a safe, clean environment for your pet
- Authorize emergency veterinary care if needed during service
Kisses Included Responsibilities
Kisses Included commits to:
- Provide compassionate, professional pet care following your instructions
- Maintain regular communication and provide updates during services
- Handle your pet with care and respect their individual personality and needs
- Respond promptly to emergencies and contact you immediately if concerns arise
- Maintain confidentiality regarding your pet and home
- Follow all health and safety protocols
5. Photography and Image Usage
Professional Pet Photography Services
Upon payment in full, the client receives a non-exclusive license to use delivered photographs for personal use, including:
- Personal website and social media
- Printed materials and framed displays
- Personal presentations and communications
Portfolio and Marketing Use
Kisses Included may use photographs from services (including pet photos during walks, visits, and stays) in our portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing. Photos will not identify your pet or home by name without your consent.
6. Limitation of Liability
Kisses Included provides services on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kisses Included and Carol Ellen shall not be liable for loss of data, interruption of service, indirect or consequential damages, or any damages arising from the use or inability to use the website or services. In no event shall Kisses Included's total liability exceed the amount paid by the client for the services in question.
